Sean E. Rastanis
Sean E. Rastanis is a partner with the firm. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1999. Sean graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Management in December of 1995 and from Louisiana State University Law Center with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1999. Sean is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Middle, Eastern, and Western Districts of Louisiana.
Sean has established a well-rounded litigation practice representing clients on a vast number of issues, including workers’ compensation, personal injury, insurance coverage disputes, first party insurance defense, premises liability, and construction litigation, including construction defects.
Sean has also taken a special interest in handling and resolving longstanding and/or high exposure workers’ compensation cases by working with the client and the claimants to reduce the client’s future exposure through negotiation, including settlement and mediation.
Currently, Sean’s practice is focused on workers’ compensation and general defense litigation, including general casualty and premises liability.
In his spare time, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He is also an avid saltwater fisherman.
Sean practices out of the New Orleans office.
